Aice has just launched two new ice cream variants, namely Aice Mango Slush Low Fat Less Sugar and Aice Mango Slush Hi-Ci. Aice Mango Slush Low Fat Less Sugar is the first mango-flavored ice cream that contains low sugar and fat levels, while Aice Mango Slush Hi-Ci is the first mango-flavored ice cream that contains high levels of vitamin C.

 

These two ice cream variants are specifically targeted for young people who are concerned about their health, especially sugar intake.

 

"This is the first low fat and low sugar fruit concept ice cream in Indonesia," said Senior Brand Manager and Aice Group Spokesperson Sylvana Zhong at a media gathering event at the Greyhound Cafe on Tuesday (8/11/2022).

 

Sylvana said the two ice cream variants launched were a form of Aice's implementation as a health and trendy concept ice cream brand. The healthy concept is presented in the form of the first fruit-based ice cream in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the trendy concept can be seen from the form of the ice cream produced resembling the original fruit.

 

"The mango variant was chosen because Aice is the pioneer of the first fruit ice cream in Indonesia," Sylvana said. Interestingly, although it is low in sugar and fat concept, Aice still offers the sweet sensation of mango with a soft and fresh texture.

 

"The delicious sensation of Aice Mango Slush inside contains the main ingredient of real mango from the Alphonso variety known for its sweet and delicious taste," said Aice Group Product Manager Arifin Khong at a media gathering event at the Greyhound Cafe on Tuesday (8/11/2022).

 

Arifin explained that Alphonso mango is a type of mango known as the "King of Mangoes" because it has a sweet taste, a soft fruit texture, and a deep orange fruit color.

 

The presence of these two new ice cream variants is expected to be a choice or solution for ice cream lovers who pay more attention to their weight as well as in a sugar diet for health.

 

"It is crucial for all of us to pay attention to the consumption of sugar, salt, and fat per day in order to reduce the risk of noncommunicable diseases," said Clinical Nutrition Specialist Doctor Arti Indira at a media gathering at the Greyhound Cafe on Tuesday (8/11/2022).

 

Indira explained some of the worst risks for people who consume excessive sugar including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, and kidney disease.

 

Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 edition ice cream

 

Sylvana said that these two new Aice ice cream variants are specially edition ice creams for the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022. This is in line with Aice becoming the Official Pre-Package Ice Cream for the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022.

 

In addition, the Aice Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 edition ice cream also collaborates with talented young French footballer Kylian Mbappe as the official ambassador.

 

"Aice is proud to be recognized by Mbappe as his choice of ice cream product," Sylvana said.

 

Sylvana explained that the reason for choosing Mbappe as the official ambassador for this edition of Aice ice cream is that Mbappe is a footballer who also adopts a healthy lifestyle.

 

"We are inspired by Mbappe who wants to make France, his homeland proud. Therefore, we also want to make Indonesia proud," concluded Sylvana.
