After Last Year’s Success, Aice Returns to the SenengMinton Festival 2025 to Support Indonesia’s Future Badminton Champions
Aice, STY Foundation & Saraswati Learning Center Unite to Create a Sustainable Inclusive Space
TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s leading ice cream brand, Aice Group, has reinforced its social commitment through the event “Hari Berbagi Harapan: Together in Harmony.”
The event was held in collaboration with the Shin Tae Yong Foundation (STY) and the Saraswati Learning Center on March 15, 2025, in Jakarta, as part of the observance of World Down Syndrome Day.
Through a series of specially designed interactive activities, the event aimed to foster equality and strengthen solidarity for children with special needs.
This collaboration with two strategic partners reflects Aice's efforts to create inclusive spaces while encouraging public awareness and appreciation of diversity.
Sylvana Zhong, Senior Brand Manager of Aice Group, emphasized that Aice's participation in this event is part of the company’s deep commitment and concern for social issues—especially in building a sustainable and inclusive ecosystem.
“Aice promotes equality by offering quality and innovative ice cream that can be enjoyed by everyone. We believe that every individual, including children with special needs, deserves happiness and equal opportunities,” said Sylvana.
“We must push for equal access for children with special needs in all areas—from education to social opportunities. Through collaborations with strategic partners, we aim to inspire others to help open up inclusive spaces, where every child can experience joy and feel fully accepted in society,” she added.
One of the event’s highlights was the Inclusive Football Mini Exhibition, specially designed for children with Down syndrome.
More than just a physical activity, this initiative demonstrated that football can be an effective medium to build self-confidence, enhance togetherness, and cultivate a spirit of collaboration among children with special needs.
Echoing Sylvana’s sentiment, a representative from STY Foundation stressed the importance of multi-sector collaboration to raise public awareness about inclusivity for children with special needs.
“Sports and the arts are universal tools that can spark confidence and independence in these children. Today’s event clearly showed how they dared to explore new skills, interact with confidence, and feel like a full part of the community,” the representative shared.
Saraswati Learning Center: Inclusive Education as the Foundation for Change
As the event’s host, a representative from Saraswati Learning Center stated that inclusive education is key to creating a welcoming environment for children with special needs.
“The collaboration with Aice and STY Foundation proves that real change can happen when everyone works together. This event is not just ceremonial—it is the first step toward opening more avenues for expression and learning for these children,” they said.
“For many of the children here, this was their first time playing football or painting with full support. Some were shy at first, but gradually they became confident and started to show their talents. This is a historic moment that should be replicated across Indonesia—especially in remote areas where access is still very limited,” they concluded.
